The young Berlin ensemble specialise in the historic low string instruments of baroque cello and viola da gamba, devoting themselves to a broad repertoire ranging from Renaissance consort to high baroque sonatas and the virtuoso music of the Romantic period. The three musicians explore the tonal possibilities of low three-part harmony, as well as the versatile, changing role of the cello throughout the centuries.
In its program "tiefsaits", the trio revive the works of Giuseppe Clemente Dall'Abaco from their slumber and complement these with other well-known and unknown compositions from the 18th century.
