Both Cansu Tanrıkulu and Nick Dunston are sought-after improvisers and composers on the international stage. As an electroacoustic duo, their work is site-specific and project-based in the form of interdisciplinary performances, conceptual recordings, and multimedia works. Oscillating vocal sounds alternate with processed string textures, ethereal synthesizer songs with DIY tape collages. Multi-instrumental and versatile, the duo dances between voice and body, composition and improvisation, acoustic and electronic, exploring ideas of empathy, space and embodiment.
