Singer and composer Almut Kühne "is a vocalist who leaves all genre boundaries behind and also pushes her own personal limits without regard for losses: impressive!" Born in Dresden and living in Berlin, Kühne sings and improvises solo, in duo and in trio with jazz musicians such as Jordina Millà, Francesco Bigoni, Chris Dahlgren, Carl-Ludwig Hübsch and Johanna Borchert, and explores the intersections of art, music, movement, literature and science with keen interest in her projects with dancers, actors and visual artists.
