Jazz cellist Susanne Paul was born in California and grew up in the United States and Germany. Her colourful playing combines groove, improvisation and innovation in equal measure to create a poetic artistic synthesis. She is equally at home in jazz or indie rock, polyrhythmic or contemporary music. She regularly collaborates with musicians such as Uwe Kropinski, Etta Scollo, Julia Hülsmann and Matthias Schriefl.
